NEST GelNest Matrix, for Organoid Culture, Phenol Red-Free, LDEV-Free, 5 mL/bottle, 1 bottle/bag - 211282

 GelNest™ is a basement membrane product identical in composition and performance to Corning® Matrigel® Matrix. GelNest™ Matrix extracted from Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) mouse sarcomas using genetically identical mouse lines and SOP's. EHS tumors contain plentiful ECM proteins such as laminin (60% ), collagen IV (30%), heparan sulfate proteoglycans, nidogen (8%), and several growth factors. 

Part number 211282 has been specially formulated to support organoid formation. It features low endogenous growth factors allowing the user better control of what growth factors are introduced and when during organoid culture. This formula also avoids any unwanted estrogenic effects as it is free of phenol red.
